Looking across the projects Nimble has worked on — from a multi-year environmental remediation in Pennsylvania to emergency response after a transformer fire in Ohio to a remote military installation in Utah — what stands out isn’t the variety. It’s the consistency of the underlying problem: a contractor with significant technical capability arrived in an unfamiliar environment and needed to operationalize quickly.

1. Environmental Remediation — Pennsylvania

A transient workforce moving 800,000 yards of dirt with no existing local network. Nimble provided turnkey laydown yard services, fleet management, Trimble grade control, AI proximity detection, consolidated telematics carbon reporting, and subcontracts management — all under a single coordinated team.

2. Airport Construction — Southern California

DBE set-aside requirements on a Design/Build airport project. Nimble supplied all temporary equipment — aerial lifts, forklifts, climate control systems, chillers, generators — and managed project-critical subcontracts including drilling and crane operations, while maintaining full CUF documentation.

3. Soil Stabilization — East Texas

A publicly traded contractor whose procurement processes couldn’t move at construction speed. Nimble took ownership across subcontracts, materials, and equipment — managing 15,000+ tons of fly ash trucking, overseeing marsh clearing with floating excavators, and delivering 25,000+ tons of locally sourced backfill, with full carbon reporting throughout.

4. Military Environmental Project — Remote Utah

Over 100 miles from the nearest metro area, with mandatory small business participation requirements. Nimble built 1.5 miles of road access, installed lightning protection on munitions magazines, and delivered 2,000 linear feet of specialized security fencing through a supplier network established before the project started.

5. PFAS Remediation — Ohio

A transformer fire released PFAS into a local creek requiring immediate response. Nimble deployed UTVs to access remote creek areas, supplied frac tanks and pumps, coordinated vacuum truck services, and managed equipment cleaning before return. Speed of mobilization was the defining deliverable.

6. Disaster Response — Florida and Gulf Coast

On-call disaster response support during active events when local resources are exhausted. Nimble maintains standing relationships enabling immediate mobilization of portable offices, generators, HVAC systems, boom trucks, and skilled trades — regardless of what else is happening in the regional market.

What connects all six

None of these projects fit neatly into a single service category. Each required fleet management and laydown yard coordination and subcontracts management and compliance documentation — sometimes deployed simultaneously within days of contract award. One team. One point of accountability. Local relationships already in place. When everything else is uncertain, that combination removes at least one variable for the contractor who needs to move fast.
