Equipment Operator – Construction

Position Overview
Nimble Managed Services is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to safely operate and maintain heavy construction machinery on a variety of project sites. The Equipment Operator will play a key role in supporting earthmoving, grading, excavation, and material handling tasks that keep projects on schedule and running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy construction equipment, including but not limited to:
• Excavators
• Bulldozers
• Loaders
• Backhoes
• Compact Track Loaders (CTLs)
• Road Graders - Perform pre-operation inspections and safety checks on assigned machinery
- Conduct basic maintenance such as greasing, fluid checks, and filter changes
- Assist with site preparation, grading, trenching, and material distribution
- Communicate with field leads and site supervisors to ensure coordinated work progress
- Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliant jobsite performance
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in construction or civil work
- Current and valid CDL or appropriate operator certifications (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret basic grade stakes and jobsite plans
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with company standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable attendance and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or 30 Construction Safety certification
- Experience with GPS/grade control systems
- Previous work on infrastructure, grading, or excavation projects

The Opportunity
We are hiring a high-performing Account Manager / Sales Representative to expand our footprint in California (Sacramento or Los Angeles market).
This is a consultative, solution-based sales role focused on building long-term strategic relationships with general contractors, heavy civil firms, environmental contractors, energy builders, and data center developers.
You will sell programs — not transactions.

What You’ll Do
Drive Revenue & Strategic Growth
• Develop and expand relationships with general contractors and project executives

• Build and manage a strong pipeline across Northern or Southern California
Deliver Consultative Solutions

• Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction
Be a Market Leader
• Represent Nimble at industry events, association meetings, and networking functions

• Position Nimble as a forward-thinking partner in digital construction transformation
Who You Are
• 3–7+ years of B2B sales experience in construction, equipment rental, fleet services, safety technology, or related industries
• Established network within California’s general contractor or heavy civil community preferred
• Proven track record of closing mid- to large-scale service agreements
• Confident presenting to project managers, superintendents, and C-suite leaders
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and performance-driven
• Passionate about innovation — especially AI and safety technology in construction
